I am currently a junior at Indiana University in the Kelley School of Business Honors Program majoring in Supply Chain Management and Technology Management with a minor in Psychology. IU offers its students the opportunity to study abroad, especially in the Spring of a student’s junior year. When the opportunity to study abroad in Hong Kong arose, I jumped on it! I look forward to a great semester of “studying” and exploring everything that China has to offer!
My Life Back at IU: In my third year at school, I maintained involvement around campus, while achieving a cumulative GPA of a 3.9 out of a possible 4.0. In addition, this year I was named the “Professional Development Director” of Women In Business, a club dedicated to the professional development of women. Previously named an “Internal Resources Associate,” then “Human Resources Director,” I am eager to take on further responsibilities throughout my senior year. I also enjoy the friendships and social aspects of IU presented by my involvement in Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. I am an active member on the Business Committee and assist our chapter in maintaining positive relations with neighboring members of the Greek community.
As only a freshman, I was General Motor’s youngest intern and the only student offered an internship by the Cadillac Marketing group in Detroit, Michigan. I was able to assist in the launching of two vehicles and worked on a number of projects. As a sophomore, I accepted an advisory – technology security internship with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago, Illinois. While there, I will work with Fortune 500 clients to maintain and safeguard their data and channels to further protect their proprietary information and improve their processes. For the Summer of 2014, I will be returning to PricewaterhouseCoopers’ technology advisory group in Chicago, Illinois.
